Puss In Boots

This adaptation of the familiar Perrault fairy tale is credited to Evalyn Kinkead, with illustrations by E. Probst. I believe this is Edith Probst, an artist about whom I know nothing. The paintings are very good, though, with that strong 1960s flair for exaggeration and stylized figures.

  1. I purchased this book and 3 others today with the same illustrator. I love the illustrations and a "fashionable" style again at the moment.
