Atom Robot Adventurer

Gary Terry wrote and drew this nice digest-sized comic in 1976. I got it that year, and it was the first time I'd seen an American artist who was influenced by Japanese manga. He also did a nice and sexy revival of the obscure World War II hero, The Green Turtle, originally from BLAZING COMICS. See a vintage Green Turtle episode here.

I'm not sure if there was an issue #2 of ATOM ROBOT ADVENTURER, or if Gary Terry did any more comics, despite the two-page ad for forthcoming works. Earlier he did a comic called THE SKULL KILLER.
