Bird's Eye View

Here are 12 fantastic Sunday comic pages by the talented Dudley Fisher, all full-pagers done in a bird's-eye view style, extremely well drawn. Don Markstein's Toonopedia has more about this long-running feature.

Fisher, who began RIGHT AROUND HOME in 1937, died in 1951. His assistant, Bob Vittur, continued the strip until 1964.

Many thanks to the anonymous scanner who uploaded these to the Internet, where I found them.

    I admit before I saw these pages online I didn't know this feature existed. It morphed into a strip called "Myrtle," and I've never seen it, but it could not have been the masterpieces these pages are.
